Can we use WashCoat on a vinyl wrapped vehicle?
Yes, no problems. The UV protection of the Acrylionic coating will preserve and pro-long the life of the vinyl.
What about flat black vinyl or paint?
Flat black can be difficult to clean as finger marks, or any oils show up badly. The powerful cleaning ability of WashCoat will remove these marks, clean the vinyl/paint and leave a protective coating. In regards to adding shine..... it leaves what you would call a sheen to the flat surface. So far everyone who has used loves the finish - but if you seriously want the very flat/black board/dry finish with no sheen, then WashCoat may not be suitable.
Does it really remove tar?
Yes - as the detergent strength is high (not like a traditional Car Wash that needs a gentle strength so as not to remove the wax). WashCoat strength is high as it uses the Acrylionic coating and not a wax for protection and shine.
To remove tar requires time for the detergent to soften the tar - you can also use the product neat, straight out of the bottle, on a rag and gently rub the tar. This is a lot softer to the paint finish, and yourself than using a potent, toxic chemical.
